The gorse along this dappled pathway was a sight to behold. The yellow was so dazzling in the sunshine and could restore anyone’s low spirits.
I have mixed cold wax into the oil paint to bring in more texture and used a variety of tools to create different and interesting marks. The cool blues and purples of the shadows enable the yellows and oranges to radiate and fill you with joy as well as bring a sense of calm.
UV varnished.
