Original painting in oil and cold wax on a cradled wood panel.

In this painting the low hanging leaves create a tunnel of darkness, but if you follow the dappled pathway it will lead you into the brightness and warmth again.

I have mixed cold wax into the oil paint to bring in more texture and used a variety of tools to create different and interesting marks. The cool blues and purples of the shadows enable the bright yellowy green to entice you further along the path, to bring joy as well as a sense of contentment.

UV varnished.

Framed is 25.5cm x 33.5cm. £235 in a hand painted grey/green tray frame. It will come ready to hang, strung and screwed in place.
